DOUBLE TAKE: IT specialist Roman Burtsevm bears an uncanny resemblance to DiCaprio

IT specialist Roman Burtsevm, 33, believes the test will verify his familial links to the Hollywood star after thousands couldn't believe their similarities.

The lookalike thinks he could be a distant relative of the star, despite sharing a slight resemblance.

He has now even signed a contract for a reality-show aired on one of the Russian TV-channels where contestants lose weight on air.

He claims that he is no fantasist nor obsessed with the star as he has only seen two of his films - The Revenant and Inception.

While Roman's belief falls far short of stalking, stars like DiCaprio are surrounded with security whose sole job is to keep them safe from predators who try to get too close.

Sandra Bullock is just one in a long line of celebrities who became the target of obsessive behaviour from fans.

The Miss Congeniality star was the victim of a house intrusion where Joshua Corbett entered her home with a loaded machine gun.

Luckily the actress shielded herself from harms way by locking herself in a room until the police showed up and arrested the intruder.

Back in 2010, Kim Kardashian filed a restraining order against Dennis Shaun Bowman.

The alleged stalker was reportedly contacting Kardashian constantly and showing up at all of her LA events. In 2013, the judge granted the reality TV starlet a permanent restraining order against Dennis, forbidding him from contacting her even via Twitter.

And Robert Dewey Hoskins stalked Madonna and threatened to kill her after escaping a mental hospital. He even scaled her Los Angeles home to get to her, and thankfully was arrested in 1995 and served a 10-year prison sentence.
