An image which appears to show an iPhone steadily disappearing has gone viral online - and everyone's confused about how it's happening.

The intriguing optical illusion was posted on Imgur and has been the subject of much conversation, with more than 1.4 million views so far.

Titled "My iPhone looks like it's disappearing", the post by Redditor jontheboss baffled and delighted many, with other users posting their own ideas as to exactly how the phone appeared to be, well, disappearing.
