CONFIGURATIONS: PSIPHON ZERO NAIRA
ON ETISALAT
VIDEO
If you’re not contempted with the video tutorial
above, follow my below procedure.
STEP 1 : ETISALAT SUBSCRIPTION
Like the title implies, “Psiphon Zero Naira On
Etisalat”… you simply don’t need to subscribe to
any data plan. Just use your Etisalat sim with
Zero N0.00k on it, be very sure there is no credit
in the sim. (Don’t blame us if your credit was
removed o!)
STEP 2: PHONE CONFIGURATIONS
Create New APN settings On Your Phone As
shown in the image below..
APN: etisalat
APN TYPE: default, supl
PROXY: 127.0.0.1
PORT: 8080
(Leave the rest, save and set it as your default
apn.)
STEP 3 : PSIPHON CONFIGURATIONS
1. Download and install Psiphon82Handler or
Psiphon100Handler.apk files below.
 Download
 Download
2. After installation, launch psiphon and
configure it as shown below;
PSIPHON SETTINGS
Open Psiphon handler, scroll down
then tick Remove Port
Below it you will find Proxy Type, just tap and
select Reverse Proxy
Navigate to Proxy Server then
insert mobile.etisalat.com.ng%2F
%3a@41.73.228.136
Navigate to Real Proxy Type and select Inject
Leave every others then Save. (See image below)
After saving, a pop-up message will appear right
on your screen asking to use Tunnel whole
device, all you need to do is to click directly on
the option to Tunnel Whole Device and it will
take you to the next phase.
Slide to Option Menu
Under the Options, you will find Select Region ,
just leave the selct region option as default ( best
performance recommended) .
Go to More Options , tap it and then scroll down
to Proxy Settings and click to Connect through
an HTTP Proxy , check the box
Still under More Option, select Use the following
settings then insert… HOST
ADDRESS: 91.189.9.38 and PORT: 3128
Go to main page of the Psiphon app then hit the
start button you see there, tick OK for the
warning message that will popup then wait to
connect (usually takes about 5-10 minutes to
connect, so be patient)
Minimize Psiphon and start surfing.
NOTE: It should connect automatically but if it
doesn’t then tap on the “Start” button and wait a
couple of seconds until the “white key” icon
appears beside the “P” on your notification bar. It
simply means connected!

How Can I Root Tecno L5?

==>Download SuperSU.zip here and save it to your phone’s SD card
==>Download the ported  TWRP for Tecno L5here

==> Unzip the TWRP zip file and flash the recovery image to the phone using SP flash tool

==>Boot the phone into TWRP recovery mode (by Holding the Vol Up and Power button for 5 seconds)

==>In TWRP recovery, Choose install zip from sdcard- to Choose zip from sdcard use vol up and down scroll up and down then choose the Supersu.zip file from the root of your sdcard.

Scroll to yes and install, after a successful flashing go back and reboot.

You have now rooted your L5! To be fully sure your Tecno L5 is rooted, download Android root checker and run a root test

Download and install Psiphon82Handler or
Psiphon100Handler.apk files below.
 Download

2. Open the downloaded and installed Psiphon
handler app and configure the handler as shown
below instead of using the psiphon etisalat
configuration above, kindly substitute the below
for the settings seen in the pictures above.
# Proxy Type: Real Host (Under X-Online-Host)
# Proxy Server: web.blackberry.com
# Real Proxy Type: Inject
# Real Proxy Server: web.blackberry.com
# Real Proxy Port: 8080
Navigate to the bottom and tap on Save to close
the Handler Settings. A pop-up message will
appear right on your screen asking to use Tunnel
whole device, all you need to do is to click
directly on the option to Tunnel Whole
Device and it will take you to the next phase.
The next phase will take you to a screen where
you will go to the “ Options” menu and also
select a region before proceeding.
# Select region: United states
# Go to More Options , tap it and then scroll
down to Proxy Settings and click to Connect
through an HTTP Proxy , check the box
and then select “ Use the following settings:”then
configure as…
Host Address : 10.199.212.2
Port: 8080
# Ignore every other as seen in default then go
back to the main screen and hit connect .

Nigeria: Defeat Deadly Boko Haram?

Nigeria’s information minister said on
Tuesday that Boko Haram was “largely
defeated” – despite two days of grisly
attacks blamed on the armed group that
killed dozens in the volatile northeast.
Lai Mohammed said the Nigerian
government had greatly reduced Boko
Haram’s capacity to strike, adding it was
on its last legs as a rebel force since
launching an insurgency six years ago
that has killed an estimated 20,000
people.
“Boko Haram has been largely defeated.
They know they are on their way out,”
Mohammed told journalists in Lagos.
“They lack the capacity to launch
horrendous attacks they used to do in
the past. We have succeeded in
dislodging them. Our problem now is how
to resettle the internally displaced
people.”
Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari
set a self-imposed deadline to stamp out
the group on December 31, and he said
recently Boko Haram had been
“technically” defeated.
However, it is believed Boko Haram was
responsible for a series of attacks last
weekend on towns in the north of
Africa’s most populous nation, calling
into question the government’s claims.

New posters of President Bashar al-Assad hang from the centre of soaring archways that welcome you into Syria and replace the once-fading images all along this route from the border with Lebanon. You notice it on the main highway, the strategic artery that runs to the city of Homs and on to the Mediterranean coast. Military checkpoints have been bolstered and brightened by fresh coats of paint in the black white and red tricolour of Syria's flag. And you sense it in the comments of President Assad's supporters - the new signs of confidence. "The problem is not with the Syrian government," insists presidential adviser Dr Bouthaina Shaaban when I ask about the new international diplomacy gathering pace to find a negotiated way out of this war. "The problem is with those who are truly targeting Syria. " Nearly five years into a devastating conflict that has shattered large parts of Syria into a patchwork of rebel strongholds, there's an atmosphere of greater certainty in political and military circles in Damascus. 'We're glad the Russians are here' Never mind that the economy is bad, and getting worse, that a spent Syrian army's accelerated recruitment drive is causing many young men to flee, and that a growing number of middle class professionals have left or are thinking of it. "We're glad the Russians are here," is a phrase I heard time and again in the corridors of power. The September surprise of Russia's sudden entry into the air campaign against the so-called Islamic State (IS), followed by the continuing despatch of advanced weaponry and Russian forces described as military advisors, have started to ease some of the pressure on Syria's army on key front lines. It's been clear from the pattern of Russia's airstrikes that its definition of "targeting terrorists" extends beyond IS to other groups threatening President's Assad's position in strategic areas, including around Damascus. "What kind of weaponry have they given you?' I ask an official in the Ministry of Defence. "Everything," he says with a big broad smile, which underlines that the biggest gift of all was the very public signal that Russia is standing with them. "They are more confident at the moment because they see the situation unfolding to their advantage," remarks a European diplomat who visits Damascus. He points to Turkey's downing of a Russian military plane as another element that strengthens their narrative. A 'summons' from Moscow But the political price tag for Russia's extensive and expensive military backing remains unclear. Much attention has focused on President Assad's very rare foreign visit which took him to Moscow in October - every photograph has been scrutinised for telltale signs of the nature of this increasingly critical relationship. "He was told 'Don't say no to everything'," a Western official involved in the new diplomatic moves tells me. "Putin made it clear there had to be a more constructive approach because military support was not endless." Syrian officials have a different take on a meeting Western and Arab diplomats describe as a "summoning". "He came back very pleased," is how a Syrian with close ties to the president's inner circle put it. Afghan lessons What seems clear is Moscow does not want its Syrian engagement to become "another Afghanistan" - the kind of long costly engagement after its 1979 Afghan invasion. But among the lessons there is that once Moscow visibly withdrew backing for its ally President Najibullah, the system began to crumble from within, pressure mounted from outside and Kabul collapsed. Avoiding precipitous collapse in Damascus, in a region already fraught with all too much chaos and crisis, is the only goal that now unites many sides in this conflict. It has created small shifts in the position of Western and Arab states whose firm stance has long been simply "Assad must go". "The political process can start with Assad but must end without him," is the new phrase I heard on a recent visit to Riyadh. But Saudi Arabia wants concrete proof that this is how any negotiations will finish, before they begin. For the opposition, it's the Syrian leader's presence that's fuelling this war, including the rise of IS. But in Damascus, the narrative hasn't shifted. "We don't care what the West says," declares Minister of Information Omran Zoubi who calls those demanding President Assad's departure "delusional". Even officials who don't speak publicly for the president say in private his exit is not on the cards. "He's the cement holding all the security and intelligence agencies together," says one well-connected businessman. "It's in everyone's interest that he stays." 'No negotiation with terrorists' The looming question is still who or what will replace him at a time when minds in many capitals are focused on the growing threat from IS. A senior Russian official told me last month that, in an effort to move this long deadlocked process forward, the word "transition" was being downplayed, as well as the president's future role. That is what emerged from the second round of the "Vienna process" which brings together all the main outside players - both enemies and allies of President Assad - around the same table for the first time. Last week's opposition meeting in Riyadh was part of new efforts to forge a more cohesive leadership to attend Syria talks set to take place as early as he first week of January. But the inclusion of Islamist forces such as Ahrar al-Sham only sharpened the derisory reply from Damascus. President Assad immediately retorted that he would not "negotiate with terrorists". That riposte resonates in Russia, which is calling for a clearer delineation of who is who in the opposition. Sceptical but weary There's talk in Damascus of more military offensives, now backed to the hilt by its allies. There's a focus on local ceasefires, such as the one in the last rebel-held district of Homs last week, which are closer to surrenders on the government's own terms. And there are many opposition groups who also still vow to fight to the end. "How can anyone be blamed for scepticism?" a UN official asks. "But the alternative is another five years of destructive war." There is some real progress in the political process. But unless and until it moves into the difficult detail of a real transition, the confidence in Damascus will remain undiminished. BBC © 2015

Iraqi Kurdish Peshmerga fighters have been on the frontline against IS militants Kurdish forces backed by coalition air strikes have repulsed the most serious attack by Islamic State group in Iraq in five months, US officials say. IS militants mounted a co-ordinated assault on several locations near the northern city of Mosul on Wednesday. About 180 IS fighters were killed in the strikes that continued until Thursday morning, the US officials said. Mosul has been under the control of IS since last year. Militants began attacking Iraqi Kurdish Peshmerga positions late on Wednesday afternoon, using machine guns, car bombs, rockets and armoured bulldozers, Kurdish and US officials said. "This was the hardest punch Isil [IS] had thrown since this summer, and the Peshmerga defeated them," said Col Steve Warren, a US military spokesman, according to the Washington Post. Brig Gen Mark Odom, the senior US officer in Iraq, said the assault may have been a "spoiling attack", the New York Times reported, suggesting it may have been an attempt to disrupt plans to retake Mosul. Among the sites targeted by IS was Bashiqa, where Turkish forces have recently been training Iraqi Kurds, sparking a row with the Iraqi government. Meanwhile at the UN the 15-member Security Council adopted a resolution aimed at starving IS of funds. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed said the deal was reached at UN-brokered talks in Geneva, Switzerland. The south-western city has been the scene of months of fierce fighting between Houthi rebels and forces backing the government. Local residents are now enduring dire shortages of all kinds, reports say. Mr Ahmed described the agreement as a "major step forward". There are hopes that aid deliveries will be sent to other Yemeni cities in the coming days. At least 5,700 people, almost half of them civilians, have been killed in air strikes and fighting on the ground since a Saudi-led coalition launched a military campaign in March in support of the government. The campaign was launched after the Houthis seized the capital Sanaa and advanced towards the second city of Aden. The already dire humanitarian situation in Yemen has also deteriorated severely, with more than 21 million people - four-fifths of the population - now requiring aid. Israel and Turkey had been firm allies until the deadly raid on the flotilla, which had been trying to break Israel's blockade of Gaza. Israel tightened maritime restrictions on Gaza from 2007, leading to a blockade which it says it a vital security measure against the militant Islamist group Hamas, which administers the territory. Pro-Palestinian activists on board clashed with Israeli commandos who boarded the lead vessel in international waters, about 75 miles (120km) from the blockade zone. China summons US envoy over Taiwan arms

Vice-Foreign Minister Zheng Zeguang made "solemn representations" with Kaye Lee, the US charge d'affaires, China's foreign ministry said. The arms deal, worth $1.83bn (£1.22bn), comes as tensions rise over China's island-building in the South China Sea. Taiwan expressed gratitude to Washington for helping with its defence needs. China views Taiwan as a breakaway province which will one day be reunited with the mainland, though relations have warmed in recent weeks. Leaders from both countries met last month for the first time since the end of the civil war in 1949. China maintains a right to use force if Taiwan attempts to gain independence. 'Strongly oppose' The Chinese statement said Mr Zheng had told Ms Lee at the Wednesday meeting that Taiwan "is an inalienable part of China's territory" and that it "strongly opposes the US arms sale". It added that the deal had "severely damaged China's sovereignty and security interest", and pledged to sanction the US firms involved in it. The US said the deal, the first in four years, was consistent with its "long-standing policy on arms sales to Taiwan". Relations between the US and China are frayed over China's construction of artificial islands in the disputed South China Sea. An aerial image allegedly shows Chinese dredging vessels in waters around the Spratly Islands in the South China Sea Two decommissioned US Navy frigates, anti-tank missiles, amphibious assault vehicles, as well as surface-to-air missiles and other equipment are all included in the deal. It will be approved in 30 days, unless Congress objects. That is thought unlikely, as there has been growing concern in the US about Taiwan's ability to defend itself from China's military might. State department spokesman John Kirby said the sale was consistent with the 1979 Taiwan Relations Act, which requires the US to provide Taiwan with sufficient weaponry to defend itself, even though the US does not recognise Taiwan as a state independent of China. The move did not need to have a negative effect on US-Chinese relations, he said, adding:"We still want to work to establish a better, more transparent, more effective relationship with China in the region." Mistrial in US Freddie Gray case

The judge in the case of a Baltimore police officer on trial over a death in custody has declared a mistrial after the jury was unable to reach a verdict. Policeman William Porter is the first of six officers charged in the death of 25-year-old Freddie Gray. The jury deliberated for three days, but could not come to an agreement on all four charges. Police have been positioned around the city to prevent riots like those that erupted following Gray's death. Judge Barry Williams said the jury - composed of seven black and five white people - had "clearly been diligent" in their deliberations. The mistrial is a major setback for prosecutors, who may now have to build another case against the policeman. They had also hoped to use Mr Porter as a witness in the trials against the other five officers, had he been found guilty. Judge Williams has scheduled a hearing for Thursday to discuss a possible new trial. Urging the public to remain calm, Gray's family thanked the the jury for their service and pushed for the prosecutor to bring a new trial against Mr Porter. After the announcement and into the evening, protesters marched through the streets and demonstrated in front of City Hall and other prominent buildings. "Indict, convict, send those killer cops to jail," some of the protesters chanted, during peaceful demonstrations. The group of 12 (3 white women, 3 black men, 4 black women and 2 white men), were in court as the Judge announced their decision. So too was the accused, Officer William Porter, wearing a black shirt, tie and suit. For any convictions to be made the jury needed to reach a unanimous decision on all four counts. A sign of their indecision was reflected over the past few days, when they'd requested copies of witness transcripts, something the Judge denied. The prosecution had hoped this case would be resolved before the trials - in January - of the other Baltimore police officers charged over Freddie Gray's death. They'd hoped to use Officer Porter as a witness in those cases, but now that he'll face a second trial himself, things look much more complex. Gray's death in April quickly became a flashpoint in a national debate over police use of force - especially against black men. Protests raged for several days and at one point turned violent, forcing officials to declare a state of emergency and to deploy national guard troops across the city of 620,000 people. Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake said that the city was "prepared to respond" to "any disturbance in the city" and encouraged peaceful protests. Gray died on 19 April - a week after his neck was broken while riding in the back of a police van. His wrists and ankles were cuffed, but he was not restrained with a seat belt. A post mortem report found the neck injury was likely sustained when he slammed into a van wall during braking or cornering. Throughout the trial, the prosecution insisted that Mr Porter could have saved Gray's life by restraining him and by calling for medical help after his injury. They described the police van as a coffin on wheels. Mr Porter testified in his own defence and said that Gray showed no distress signs before arriving at a police station with critical injuries. Bear Grylls on being 'wild' with Obama

The host of TV programme Running Wild, Bear Grylls, has said President Obama told him filming his show in Alaska was one of the best days of his presidency. Wilderness expert Mr Grylls shared details of the US president's day of filming in Alaska for the NBC show. The trip showed an "intimate" and "fun" side of Mr Obama that is not often seen, said Mr Grylls. They visited Alaska's shrinking Exit Glacier in an episode focused on climate change. The duo also discussed fatherhood, fears, and what it is like to live in a "bubble" separated from average people. "There were times along the route I had to pinch myself and think, actually, this is the president of America," Mr Grylls told reporters in New York, according to Reuters. The White House pitched the idea for the episode, he said, and he is the first sitting president to take part in the show. "They approached us, saying would we consider taking the president on an adventure to Alaska. I almost really didn't believe it. I thought it was a spoof," said Mr Grylls. Fifty Secret Service personnel, a food taster, snipers and helicopters came along with the duo as they filmed in Alaska, he said. Mr Grylls said Mr Obama lit fires, ate berries and shared his water bottle. In a clip from the episode, Mr Grylls and Mr Obama cook and eat a wild salmon that a bear had already taken a few bites out of. "The president looked a little surprised when I pulled out this bloody carcass of half-eaten salmon," said Mr Grylls. Mr Obama called him a "mediocre cook" and said "it would've been nice if we had a cracker to go with the salmon". The episode airs for the first time in the US on 17 December.

The two-year-old will go to the Westacre Montessori School Nursery in Norfolk from January. A nursery spokesman said: "We are looking forward to welcoming George to our nursery." The nursery, near King's Lynn, is close to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's home, Anmer Hall. The BBC's royal correspondent Peter Hunt said the duke and duchess appreciate what they see as the care being shown by the British media around the privacy of their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, and are grateful for the public's support in respecting the privacy of their young family. He said the couple would be pleased George's new nursery was sited in a private road, not a public one. The early learning at the Westacre Montessori School was rated good by Ofsted in June The nursery said Prince George would "get the same special experience as all of our children". Sports Direct to review worker rights Updated 19 minutes ago Sports Direct is to review all agency worker terms and conditions after the firm was criticised for its employment practices. The review will be overseen by majority shareholder Mike Ashley, who also owns Newcastle United Football Club. The company defended itself against recent accusations about its employee practices, denying it "named and shamed" workers over a warehouse tannoy at its Shirebrook site. It also denied penalising ill staff. Agency staff Earlier this month, the sports goods retailer admitted that it searched staff leaving its warehouses, but said it had reduced the amount of time these searches took. A report in the Guardian suggested the extra, unpaid time taken for "rigorous" compulsory searches meant workers were paid less than the minimum wage. The Guardian sent undercover reporters to work at Sports Direct's warehouse in Shirebrook in Derbyshire last month. Sports Direct said it employed a number of its Shirebrook staff through two agencies, which had both told the firm they did not use controversial zero-hours contracts. These are agreements that do not guarantee a minimum amount of work. Sports Direct founder Mike Ashley is to oversee the review In October, a BBC investigation found that ambulances or paramedic cars were called out to Shirebrook 76 times in two years. Many of the calls were for "life-threatening" illnesses. Former workers said some staff were "too scared" to take sick leave because they feared losing their jobs. Sports Direct said it did not penalise its staff for being ill. It added: "Sanctions may be applied if workers fail to follow the company's reasonable sickness absence notification procedures, which are in line with industry best practice." In addition, the company said: • Sports Direct was "not aware" of instances where sick children have not been collected from school by parents allegedly fearful of taking time off • The company said all company staff, including board members and executives, were randomly searched at warehouses • Staff can ring a hotline if they wish to complain, with "no risk of reprisal". It did admit to using a "strike" system to warn workers of underperformance, but said it would review the practice. The Guardian reported six strikes in six months would mean a worker would be dismissed. Unite union members have protested "Victorian" working practices at the firm The retailer also hit back at suggestions it has staff league tables. The company uses "an anonymous ranking system to monitor performance", it said. A staff number known only to the employment agencies, the company and the worker "benchmarks staff against the anonymised data of their peers" and workers can check their performance "should they wish to do so", it added. 'Bad advert' Earlier this week, Business Minister Nick Boles suggested the tax office could take enforcement action if a company was paying less than the minimum wage. Mr Boles said no Sports Direct employees had made individual complaints to HM Revenue and Customs, but said the authority "will be listening to this debate". He was responding to a question from Labour MP Chuka Umunna, who said the company was a "bad advert for British business". Unite regional officer Luke Primarolo said the union looked forward "to participating fully with Mike Ashley's review".
